Chiropractic treatments are a safe and
effective way to relieve and heal:
  • Back or neck pain
  • Hip or shoulder pain
  • Muscle tension and discomfort
  • Headaches
  • Joint or muscle injuries
  • Whiplash
  • Strains & sprains
  • Arthritis
  • Limited range of motion in
    back, shoulder, neck or limbs
Dysfunction of the human spine is often caused by acute trauma, repetitive strain or stress;
  • Work-related injuries
  • Sports injuries
  • Poor posture
  • Stress of any kind
  • Car accidents
  • Improper lifting
Any of these things can cause your spine to shift from its normal position and affect your range of motion.  This can result in abnormal pressure on the joints, muscles, and nerves in that area, causing discomfort pain and ill health.

Warning signs
  •  Leg pain with numbness, tingling and/or weakness.
  •  Back, leg, or rib pain when coughing or sneezing.
  •  Difficulty standing up after sitting for any period of time.
  •  Stiffness in the morning that decreases once you move around.
  •  Pain in your hip, buttock, thigh, knee, or foot.
  •  Inability to turn or bend to each side equally.
  • Inability to tip or turn head equally on each side.
  • Unbalanced posture, when your neck, shoulder or hip is higher on one side.
  • Aches or Pains that prevent you from sleeping well.
  • Pain that persists or worsens after 24 hours
  • Headaches
  • Decreased flexibility
The focus with chiropractic is to treat the underlying cause not just the symptoms, increasing overall health and avoiding long term chronic problems.

Doctors of Chiropractic are specially trained to detect and correct problems in the spine, often before the patient is aware they exist!
Chiropractic treatment will:
  • Treat the cause of the pain.
  • Return the spine to its proper functioning position.
  • Improve range of motion.
  • Relieve pressure on the nerves
  • Reduce muscle tension
  • Allow you to feel like yourself again.
In North America, chiropractic began in 1895 and has grown to be the largest drug-less care profession in the world.
Chiropractors are specially trained and regulated Primary Health Care providers, like dentists, medical doctors, & optometrists.

Canadian chiropractors are required to have a minimum of three years university, followed by four intensive years of training at an accredited chiropractic college.  They are specialists, qualified to assess, diagnose and treat disorders related to the spine, nervous system and joints without a referral from another medical doctor.

For conditions, such as back, neck or joint pain and stiffness, chiropractic care is frequently the primary method of treatment with a high rate of patient satisfaction.  Chiropractic care can also complement or support various medical treatments for many conditions by relieving the neuromusculoskeletal issues involved in the presenting problem.

If you have an employee benefits plan with extended health care insurance, some chiropractic care will likely be covered.   Relief is just a phone call away.
There are three levels of care:
1. Relief Care
Treats immediate pain and discomfort; 1-6 treatments may be all you need, depending on diagnosis, age and physical condition.

2. Corrective Care
Treats long term spinal problems.  When the problem has existed for some time, longer, more complex care is required.

4. Supportive or Maintenance Care
Helps you maintain and enjoy the benefits you’ve achieved from relief and corrective care.  Regular adjustments will keep you and your spine as healthy as possible.

Life Style Support
Healthy diet and exercise are always encouraged with healthy living suggestions to keep you healthy and strong for a life time.
