Computerized Gait Analysis
How your feet move when you stand and walk can effect the comfort of your entire body.
Now you can see how well your feet are functioning on the computer screen.

_

Analyzing your walking gait lets you and your practitioner know within a few moments whether or not you would benefit from customized orthotics.

Controlled movement corrects foot and gait abnormalities relieving related back, hip, knee, ankle, and foot pain.  When your feet function better, you feel  better.
  • The client walks across a computerized pressure mat that's connected to a computer.
  • The mat has 960 electronic sensor points built into it.
  • The force plate captures the motion and timing of each foot throughout the gait cycle.
  • The data is analyzed by the computer producing instant 2D and 3D graphic images of the pressures under their feet that can be seen on the screen.
  • The same information is sent to Footmaxx via modem where sophisticated diagnostic software specifies the prescription for custom orthotics.
Are you a candidate for Gait Analysis?
  • Do you stand or walk on hard surfaces more than 4 hours a day?
  • Does one shoe wear more than the other?
  • Do you suffer joint pain while standing, walking or running?
  • Do you have pain in the ball of the foot or numbness in the toes?
  • Do you experience a constant ache in your lower back?
If you said yes to any of the above, getting a gait annalysis is a good idea.  You may get considerable relief by wearing custom-made orthotics.
